Freud User Manual
You can automatically display the date and time of the plot, the contour range of the first instantiated contour object, a reference vector for vector plots, or a labelbar indicating the fill patterns of the contour object by selecting the appropriate box of the Show item.
Two kinds labels are available. Page labels are printed once per page; plot labels are associated with the window associated with each plot on a page. Up to five different page or plot labels may be specified by selecting the label # menu. Each label can be located on the top or bottom of the page or plot, and may be center, right, or left justified. The size of the label can be changed by selecting the appropriate menu item of the Size(pts) menu.
Aspect ratio
The aspect ratio of a plot can be adjusted by entering a value in the Properties window. This window is created when you choose Properties... from the View menu of the base window
The aspect ratio must be > 0.1 and < 10.
Autoload defaults with data
The properties menu also contains a switch that controls whether or not default contour values are associated with data. If this switch is on, then a set of contour attributes is associated with a given data set. Every time you change the contour attributes and plot or print the overlays, the defaults for the contour instantiation are stored. The next time you connect the data browser to a contour instantiation and load the same dataset, the contour values attributes will be restored to the last plotted values.
